Web Design & Development · Austin, Texas

Websites that
win you business.

Your website is the first impression most customers ever get of your business. I design and build custom sites — by hand, no templates — that make you look as good online as you are in person. Based in Austin, working with businesses everywhere.

Free quote. No pressure. A real person answers — usually the same day.

Sound familiar?

Three problems,
one fix.

Most businesses I talk to are in one of these three spots. All three cost you customers every single day — and all three are fixable in about a week.

No website at all

Customers search for you, find nothing, and call your competitor instead. A clean one-page site fixes that this week — and makes you look established from day one.

A site stuck in 2012

Tiny text on phones, broken links, photos that take forever to load. An outdated site quietly tells customers your business is outdated too. It isn't — your site shouldn't say so.

A template like everyone else's

Page-builder sites all look the same because they all are the same. A custom site — designed around your actual business — is how you stand out in a sea of sameness.

What you get

Everything handled,
start to finish.

You run your business. I handle every technical detail — design, build, domain, hosting, the works. You never touch a line of code or a settings panel.

01 —

Design that fits you

No templates, no themes. Your site is designed from scratch around your business — your work, your customers, your personality. It will not look like anyone else's.

  • Custom design, drawn before it's built
  • Your photos, your voice, your story
  • Looks flawless on phones, tablets, and desktops
  • You approve the design before it goes live
02 —

Built fast and right

Hand-coded and lean — no bloated plugins or page builders slowing things down. Your site loads instantly, which customers notice and Google rewards.

  • Loads in under a second
  • No monthly plugin bills or security patches
  • Live in days, not months
  • Built by the same person you talk to
03 —

Found on Google

A beautiful site nobody finds is a brochure in a drawer. Every site ships with the fundamentals search engines look for, done properly.

  • SEO basics baked in, not bolted on
  • Google Business Profile guidance
  • Fast load times — a real ranking factor
  • Clear calls to action that convert visitors
04 —

Cared for, after launch

A website isn't a one-time transaction. Need a new photo, a price change, a holiday notice? Text me. It gets done — usually same day.

  • Domain & hosting set up and managed
  • Updates and edits when you need them
  • One person to call — no ticket queues
  • Your site, your domain, always yours

The Process

Simple, honest,
and quick.

No jargon, no endless meetings, no surprise invoices. Four steps from first call to live site.

01

We talk.

A short call or a few texts about your business — what you do, who your customers are, what you want the site to accomplish. Fifteen minutes is usually plenty.

02

I design.

You get a design for your actual site — your name, your services, your look. We refine it together until it feels right. You approve it before anything is built.

03

I build.

The approved design becomes a real, working site — hand-coded, fast, and tested on every screen size. Most builds take days, not months.

04

You launch.

Domain connected, site live, Google notified. You get a walkthrough of everything — and my number for whenever you need a change.

After Launch · The Monthly Plan

A website that
keeps working.

Launch is the starting line. One flat monthly rate covers everything below — hosting, unlimited edits, and steady Google work that compounds. Month to month, no contract.

Included —

Hosting & upkeep

I keep your site online, fast, and secure — and handle any edits you need. Pricing, services, photos, hours, seasonal promos: just text me, and it's usually done the same day. No per-change fees, ever.

The core —

Getting you found on Google

This is the real work you're paying for. Eight fronts of steady, monthly effort that move you up the map and the search results — the difference between the companies customers find and the ones they never see. Open each one below.

01Google Business Profile managementWeekly+
Full optimization of your map listing — categories, services, service areas, attributes — plus weekly Google Posts and seeding your Q&A section. This is where most local calls come from, and it's what separates the companies on the map from the ones nobody finds.
02On-page optimizationMonthly+
Mapping each page of your site to the terms people actually search with buyer intent, then tuning your title tags, meta descriptions, and headers so Google clearly understands what you do — and where you do it.
03Service-area landing pagesOngoing+
Dedicated pages for each city-and-service combination you cover, so you can rank in every town you serve instead of just your home base. Built out steadily, month over month.
04Local schema markupBuilt in+
Structured data added to your site's code that helps Google display your business with rich details — ratings, service info, FAQs — directly in search results. Most small competitors don't have this.
05Citation building & consistencyOngoing+
Getting your business listed accurately across the directories Google cross-checks — Bing Places, Apple Maps, Yelp, industry sites — and keeping your name, address, and phone identical everywhere. Consistency here is a direct trust signal.
06Page speed & mobile performanceMonitored+
Optimizing load times and Core Web Vitals, since Google ranks faster sites higher — and most of your customers are searching from their phones.
07Review generationAlways on+
A simple system that prompts your happy customers to leave Google reviews, plus keyword-aware responses to every review — both of which help you climb the map results.
08Search Console tracking & monthly reportingMonthly+
I monitor your keyword rankings and traffic in Google Search Console and send you a short monthly rundown: what I did, what moved, and how you're trending. You always know what you're paying for.
One honest note

SEO builds over time — the first month or two is groundwork, and it compounds from there. Anyone promising you the top spot overnight isn't being straight with you. That's why this is month to month, no contract: if it's ever not worth it, you stop. Simple as that.

Start your website

Reach out your way.

Thanks for reaching out. I'll get back to you personally, usually the same day, with ideas and a straight answer on cost.

Common questions

Fair questions.

How much does a website cost?+
It depends on what your business needs — a clean one-pager is very different from a multi-page site with booking. Call or text and I'll give you a straight number after a short conversation. No obligation, and no charge to find out.
How long does it take?+
Most sites go from first call to live in about a week. Larger builds take longer, but you'll know the timeline up front — and I only give timelines I can keep.
Do I need to write the words or take photos?+
No. Bring what you have — even if that's nothing. I'll draft the copy from our conversation, and we can work with your existing photos or tasteful stock until you have better ones.
What about my domain and hosting?+
Handled. If you have a domain, I'll connect it; if not, I'll help you get the right one. Hosting is set up on fast, modern infrastructure — and the domain stays in your name, always.
What does the monthly plan actually get me?+
Hosting, security, and unlimited same-day edits — plus the real work: ongoing Google SEO. Map listing management, local rankings, review generation, and a monthly report of what moved. The full breakdown is in the monthly plan above. Month to month, no contract.
Can you fix or update my existing site?+
Usually, yes — and sometimes a rebuild is honestly cheaper than a rescue. Send me the link and I'll tell you which, for free.
Who am I actually working with?+
Me — Dylan Smith, the founder of Lakeline Labs in Austin, TX. The person who answers the phone is the person who designs and builds your site. No account managers, no offshore handoffs.
