The story
behind the name.
Lakeline Labs is an independent software studio based in Austin, Texas. The name comes from Lake Austin — a narrow, winding reservoir that cuts through the heart of the city. Like the lake, the work here is intentional, unhurried, and shaped by the landscape around it.
No VC. No co-founders. No growth targets imposed from outside. Just a studio built around one principle: make software worth making, and ship it when it's right.

How it feels to use comes before what it does. Interface is the product — not its wrapper.

Every screen is drawn, re-drawn, and lived with before a line of code. The product exists in pixels before it exists as an app.

Native Swift. No bloat. No frameworks-of-frameworks. Code that will still make sense in five years, written by people who will read it again.
Use daily.
Every product is used daily inside the studio long before it reaches anyone else. If it doesn't earn a place in our lives, it won't earn a place in yours.
