The rules of the road for using lakelinelabs.com and our apps. Written as plainly as possible.
Agreement
By accessing lakelinelabs.com or using any app or service offered by Lakeline Labs LLC ("we," "us," "Lakeline Labs"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the services.
Our services
We build and distribute software, primarily mobile applications. Services are provided "as is" and we work to make them reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Your account
Some services require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services to: violate any law; infringe intellectual property; send spam; harass others; reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass technical measures; or use them in a way that damages or overloads our infrastructure.
Your content
You retain ownership of any content you create in our apps. We only access your content to the extent necessary to provide the service. We will never sell your content to third parties or use it to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Payment and subscriptions
Paid services are billed through the Apple App Store or other payment processor. Refunds are handled by the payment processor according to their policies. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Intellectual property
All content on lakelinelabs.com and within our apps — including design, code, text, graphics, and logos — is owned by or licensed to Lakeline Labs LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy or reproduce any of it without permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the services will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, or be error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lakeline Labs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the services. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the services any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or misuse the services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Travis County, Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
