Answers to the things people most want to know about LifeOS and the studio. Can't find what you're looking for? Drop a note on the contact page.
When is LifeOS launching? +
There's no fixed launch date. LifeOS is in active development and will ship when it's genuinely ready — not before. Subscribe to the newsletter for real updates when there's something worth saying.
Will there be a free tier? +
Pricing is still being finalized, but the intention is a generous free tier for core functionality, with a sustainable subscription for advanced features like the AI coach and deeper analytics. No ads, no data selling, regardless of plan.
Are you really a solo studio? +
Yes. Design, code, copy, and support are all handled by one person — Dylan Smith, the founder. The studio will likely stay small by design. Scaling the team is not a goal; scaling the quality of the work is.
Is there an Android version coming? +
Not initially. LifeOS is being built natively for iOS first so it can reach the level of polish the studio is committed to. Android is a possibility down the line, but not on the current roadmap.
How do you handle my data? +
On-device first. End-to-end encrypted where cloud sync is necessary. No ads, no third-party tracking, no data sold or brokered. A full privacy policy will be published before launch, with clear explanations — not legal theater.
Can I be an early beta tester? +
A closed TestFlight beta will open before public launch. Subscribers to the newsletter will be the first to hear about it. For now, there's no signup form — the beta will be small and hand-curated.
Are you hiring or open to contractors? +
Not at this time. The studio is deliberately solo. If that changes, it will be announced here — not through job boards.
